With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Agnes Janski (Saint Paul, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Agnes left this world on January 13, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smekofske and Caroline Smekofske (Noe); her husband Maurice D. Janski; her children, Arline Evans and Frank; and her siblings, Marie Smith and Clarence "Smokey" Smekofske.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Nelson (Luther), Gloria Schuweiler (Bernie), Rodney, David (Jody) and Allan. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Bernard (187 Geranium Ave W, St Paul, MN 55117). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (803 Larpenteur Ave W, Roseville, MN 55113).
At Agnes' request, no flowers please. Memorials or donations preferred.
