He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Susie) of Buffalo, Gary (Linda) of St. Michael, Paul (Donna) of St. Michael and Joel (Jean) of South Haven; his grandchildren, Melissa Jensen (Ryan), Natalie Bjorklund (Darren), Vanessa Neumann (Geoff), Ryan Barthel (Jamie), Michael Barthel, Jolynn Schmidt (Randy), Nick Barthel (Krissy), Stephanie Barthel, Jeff Barthel, Ashley McStott (Alex) and Trevor Barthel; his great grandchildren, Blake, Reid Jensen, Stella, Brody Bjorklund, Makhyla, Kinley Schmidt, Madison, Zach Barthel, Charlotte McStott and Neumann; his stepchildren, Rosanne Jones (Ed), Doug (Michelle), Earl (Jeannie), Gordy (Cheryl), Terry (LeAnne) and Leo (Jean); his sisters, Mildred Aydt (Wilbur) and Lavern Nieman; and his sisters-in-law, Irmina Mathis and Joanne Lenneman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for immediate family only on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior.
