He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Kohorst and Cecelia Kohorst (Rausch); and his brother Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Brad Kohorst (Lori) and Ronna Baca (Marco); his grandchildren, Evan, Eli (Courtney), Amalia, Isabel, Nico and Nina; and his siblings, Henry Kohorst (Vicki), Liola Dold (Jim), Mary Ann Buttweiler (Bob Ludivig), Beatrice Vasterling (Greg), Arnold Kohorst (Jill) and Daniel Kohorst (Barb).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St Michael, MN 55376). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested for the Order of the Sisters of Saint Benedict, Saint Joseph, Minnesota.
