He was predeceased by: his father Russell Jesperson; and his grandparents, Edna Jesperson, Lewis Jesperson, Raymond and Cleone Hasken.
He is survived by: his wife Penny; his daughters, Amanda Marilyn Schmidt (Kenny) and Kathryn Teresa Jesperson (Cameron Johnson); his grandchildren, Pacey, Porter Mikael and Marilyn; his mother Shirley Jesperson Carpenter (Hasken); and his siblings, Natalie Hoff (Sandy), Teresa Jesperson (Stephens), Jeffrey Jesperson, Susan Bocht (Bryan) and Ross Jesperson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family who will be creating a 'Papa Michael for the Love of Baseball' baseball fund in Michael's name.
