He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Frieler and Monica Frieler (Wensman); his sister Joan Hoppe; his brothers-in-law, Edmund Hoppe, Loren Pemberton and David Dombrovski; and his brothers, Tim and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne B. Kuklok; his children, Annette Kostreba (Michael) of St. Joseph, Dean Frieler (Jenelle O'Brien) of Buffalo, Kristy Laufenberg (John Radford) of Wayzata, Chad Frieler of St. Michael and Ryan Frieler (Julie) of New Brighton; his grandchildren, Alyssa Anderson, Cortney, Callie Kostreba, Andrew, Noah Frieler, Hunter, Taylor Robarge, Mason Laufenberg, Ethan, Nolan and Paxton Frieler; his siblings, Arlene Desombre, Carol Pemberton, Virginia Nathe (John), William Frieler (Betty), Sandra Jostock (Allen) and Kevin Frieler (Patricia); his stepmother-in-law June Kuklok; and his parents-in-law, Cyril and Bridgette Kuklok.
