He was predeceased by: his son Randy; his parents, Edmund and Florence; and his siblings, Corina, Jane, Marion, Pearl, Eugene, Ronald and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Albina; his daughters, Laureen Mathison (Perry) and Renee Weaver (Jim); his grandchildren, Aaron Mathison (Kacie), Adam Mathison, Alex Mathison (Bethany), Jessica Weaver and Katelyn Weaver; his great grandchild Leah Mathison; and his siblings, Adele, Carol (Neil), Eleanor (Ray), Connie, Shirley (David) and John (Rebecca). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He loved playing cards, and going to the casino, but was never lucky until the last church festival where he won the $100 that he donated to the drawing.
