He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Zachman and Emily Zachman (Lehn); his brothers, Elmer Zachman, Elroy Zachman and Vernon Zachman (Missionaries); his brother-in-law Neil Mahoney; and his nephew Kevin Zachman.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Zachman; his children, Jeffrey (Mary Ellen), Mary Knapp (John), Renee (Jim Moldenhauer), Reginald (LuAnn), Donny (Karen), Therese Petroske (Jeff), Monica Hall (Dennis), Calista Alden (Allen) and Colleen Erickson (Brad); his great grandchild Kate Basavage; his children, Dawson, Corrine, Lydia, Jenny, John (Jenn), Zachary, Grace, Michael Maggie (Lisa), Drew (Amanda), Lora (Rocky), Emily, Elizabeth, Travis (Kirsten), Stella, Emery, Sr., Dustin (Ann), Brandon (Megan), Lincoln, Cora, Griffin, Josie (Andrew), Lila, Mavis, Clint (Jamie), Emma, Kurt (Ashley), Katrin, Kade, Dalton Hall, Madelyn and Lynnia Alden; and his siblings, Irene Mahoney, Bernadette Dehn (James), Edgar Zachman (Mary), MaryAnn Rinkel (Ronald) and Harry Zachman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Endowment Fund for the St. Michael Catholic School.
