It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Ann Mattson (Saint Louis Park, Minnesota), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Straw and Julie Straw (Pollack); and her brothers, Robert Jr. and David Straw. She is survived by: her husband Charles Mattson; her children, Mark Mattson (Kim), Jason Mattson (Cathy), Kristine Thornburgh (Tim) and Robert Mattson (Annia); her grandchildren, Sydney Thornburgh, Elliana, Johnathan and Jordan Mattson; and her siblings, Sharon Weinman (Straw), Nikki Faulkner (Straw) and Richard Straw.
