He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Mashaal; his parents, Ketty Akerib and Albert Akerib; and his sisters, Biba, Andrée and Dina.
He is survived by: his children, Gilah Mashaal and David Mashaal (Cynthia); his brothers, Remi and Freddy; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Mashaal-Timm (Tyler Timm), Zachary Mashaal, Aiden Mashaal and Sarah Mashaal.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St W, St Louis Park, MN 55416). A reception was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilah's Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Beth El Synagogue Arts & Music Fund.
