She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Eurist and Beatrice Eurist; her husband Marvin Shapiro; her sisters, Saundra Greer and Andrea Miller; and her son-in-law Richard Diamond.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Diamond, Dr. Ralph Shapiro (Marilyn) and Barb Melamed (Harry); her grandchildren, Dori Gelfman (Danny), Jody Moreimi (Tom), Jessica Diamond (Ahren Jasper), Layne Zagorin (Dan), Matt Shapiro (Sarah Rader), Scott Melamed (Alex Beaumount) and Rita Melamed; and her great grandchildren, Marty, Ella Gelfman, Robby, Mari Moreimi, Peyton Sajo, Anthony Jasper, Zack, Alex, Sadie, Rhys Zagorin and Nathan Marrow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
