He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hamrick and Ila Hamrick; his sisters, Donna, Grace, Lois and Betty Folkestad; and his nephew Paul Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Paula, Stephen, David, Bret and Tim; and his grandchildren, Adam, Brenden, Bret Jr., Jeremiah, Joe, Luke, Matt, Nicole, Rheanna, Sam, Sara and Tyler. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
