He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wilkes and Helen Wilkes; and his wife Rachel. He is survived by: his children, Angela Wakefield (Troy), Pamela Hurdt (Danny), Kevin and Jonathan (Samantha); his grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Travis, Justin, Dillon, Talan, Lucas, Caiden and Kelsey; and his siblings, Anthony (Lynn), David (Linda) and Kathy (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
