He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Ruane and Thomas Ruane; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Mary Pernula (Nick), Bridget Topousis (Alex) and Colleen Moody (Kyle); his grandchildren, John, Reagan, Lucy, Blake, Gigi and Charlie; and his siblings, Katie Mehochko and Mike Ruane (Patty).
