With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Carroll of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, born in Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hoppe and Alma Hoppe (Mohs); her husband Daniel John Carroll; and her siblings, Richard "Dick", Donald, John "Jack", Thomas Hoppe and Judy Hoppe.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Carroll (Maureen) of Rosemount, Kolleen Afeld (Gary) of McHenry and Kathleen Smith (Jeffrey) of Arden Hills; her grandchildren, Norah Carroll, Connor Carroll, Shannon Carroll-Rolfe, Sarah Jablonski (Afeld), Lindy Afeld, Mollie Crutchfield (Afeld), Emma Afeld, Brandon Smith and Tyler Smith; her great grandchildren, Garett, Theodore, Maclin Jablonski, Kerry, Beau Crutchfield and Kanaan Anderson; her siblings, Robert Hoppe, Edwin "Daniel" Hoppe, LaVon "Lovey" Theis, Evelyn "Evie" Schmidt and Darlene "Babe" Theis; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Norine (Carroll). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
