Marshall Lifson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marshall Lifson of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lifson and Ruth Lifson; his sister Maureen; and his brother-in-law Jerry Bloom. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, David Lifson (Xandy), Carey Lifson (Dara) and Amy Newman (Barry); his grandchildren, Allisa Newman, Paige Newman and Daniel Lifson; and his siblings, Bob (Penny Galinson), Michael (Rivi Galinson), Carole (Martin Kaplan) and Myrna (Gary Bell). He is also survived by his nephews, and many, many friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation (10500 Hillside Ln W, Minnetonka, MN 55305). A shiva was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Marshall's memory.
