He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Sand and Melvin Sand Sr.; and his sister Marlene Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Eric Sand and Devona Sand; his granddaughter Isis Brown; and his brother Melvin Sand Jr. (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
