He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie; his parents, Sophie Rubenstein and Sam Rubenstein; his sister Roz; his brother-in-law Howard Nicker; and his cousin Maddie Banwell.
He is survived by: his children, Roz, Fred Kaplan, Sandy and Alan Witebsky; his grandchildren, Stacy, Jesse Simon, Allison, Logan Rosenthal, Jon, Mary Ella Witebsky, Michael Witebsky, Sarah and Justin Saper; and his great grandchildren, Will, Jack, Leo, Leah and Evan.
