He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Thelemann and Mary Thelemann; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Charolette Osborne; his brothers, Dr. Art Thelemann Jr., Leroy Thelemann and Maurice Thelemann; his siblings-in-law, Bern Thelemann, Larry Ostrowski, William Osborne and Tom Meyer; and his niece Katherine Guettler (Thelemann).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Osborne of St. Peter; his children, Tim Thelemann of Elk River, Robert Thelemann (Geralyn) of Watertown, Sheila Bianchi (Keith) of St. Paul, Rachel Thelemann-Reil (Chad) of Minneapolis and Emily Thelemann-Evans (Sara) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Alex, Aidan and Sophie Thelemann; his children, Grace Bianchi, Finn, Eloise Hubbard, Emma, Spencer and Frankie Reil; his sister Eleanor Ostrowski of Duluth; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Thelemann of Cleveland, Evie Thelemann of St. Peter and Margaret Taylor of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
