He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Ehlenz; and his parents, J. Edwin "Eddie" Nash and Bertha Nash (Slettedahl). He is survived by: his children, Barbara Nash (Catherine Gray) and Dr. Michael Nash (Robin); his grandchildren, Ryan Nash and Brianna Leary (Mel); his great grandchildren, Mikah and Kellen Leary; and his child Eldore.
