He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Malchow and Gladys Malchow (Jacobson); his wife Joyce; and his sisters, Patricia Hein and Judy Schuldt.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Malchow (Valerie) of Winnebago, Debbie Malchow of Sartell and Michael Malchow of Minneapolis; and his stepchildren, Larisa Stemen (Eric) of Shoreview and ChanMy Sondhelm "Jenna" (Dan) of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
