He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Schirmers and Kay Schirmers (Scherber); and his sister Susie. He is survived by: his children, Sunde Schirmers and Nick Schirmers (Sam); his grandchildren, Aidan and Makayla; and his brothers, Steve Schirmers (Debbie) and Jerry Schirmers. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edina Chapel (5000 W 50th St, Edina, MN 55436). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
