Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

“I am forever grateful to Dr David Sutherland who made my life worth living again. My pancreas transplant in 2010 gave me the opportunity to have a child, restart my career and build a life full of purpose and empathy. I will never forget the moment David told me to ”put some lipstick on and see the Mall of America” when I was about to leave the hospital after my major surgery. He was a great man. My biggest regret was that my daughter never got to meet him! RIP DERS”
