He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Alexander and Samuel Alexander; and his sister Yvette Selig (Marty). He is survived by: his children, Susan Gurstel (Todd) and Jeffrey Alexander; his granddaughters, Isabella Ben-Hanan (Guy) and Talia Gurstel; his stepgrandson Jacob Fryer; his great grandchild Esti Ben-Hanan; and his sister Andrea Haft (Gerard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
