He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schindler and Marie Schindler (Loeffler); his sister Shirley Schindler; and his brother-in-law Norbert Ryterski. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Bick; his children, Craig (Cathy) and Kimberly Schindler (Dean); his grandsons, Tyler and Travis; and his siblings, David (Judy) and Diane Ryterski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
