He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gapko and Stephania Gapko (Kondolka); his wife Leona M. Simon; his son Brian; and his siblings, Mary Gapko, Andy Gapko, John Gapko, Stephanie Heinz, Frank Kucej, David Kucej and Paul Kucej.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Barker (Jason) of Richmond; his grandsons, Jordan and Jake; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Kucej and Judy Kucej. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
