It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose M. Spanier of Saint Joseph, Minnesota, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Beuning and Elizabeth Beuning (Von Bokern); her husband Roman Spanier; her son Melvin Spanier; her grandchildren, Sandra Spanier, Jennifer and Jack Leither; her great grandchild Cara Spanier; her son-in-law Kevin Knettel; and her siblings, Jude, William, Lawrence, Ann Kuffel, Connie Hoeschen, Ambrose, Agnes Schwinghammer, Martha Timp, Jerome and Marcella Viere.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Schindler (Ray) of Sartell, Neil Spanier (Diane) of St. Joseph, Betty Leither (Duane) of Spicer, Terry Spanier (Kim) of Niceville, FL, Judy Knettel (Roger Weishalla) of Sauk Rapids, Pennie Field (Chris) of Cold Spring, Pam Yurczyk (Jeff) of Sartell and Patty Loso (Neil) of St. Joseph; her daughter-in-law Louise Honl (Steve) of Rice; and her siblings-in-law, Orville Spanier (Jeanette), Dolores Klein and Viola Backes. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
