He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Stangler and Katherine Stangler (Duevel); his son Andy; and his siblings, Julitta, Lawrence, Ervin and Marcella Hallermann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hudovernik; his children, Robert Jr. (Sherry) of Maple Grove, Barb Kuklok (Dan) of Holdingford, Michael of Glendale, CA, Greg (Sandy) of Isanti, JoAnne Gohmann (Loren) of Clearwater, Annette Grebinoski (Donnie) of Holdingford and Bernadette of Foley; his daughter-in-law Lorene DeFord (Tom) of Rice; his brother Tony (Evelyn) of Albany; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Swanson of Michigan and Stan Hermann of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Saint Clares Monastery in Sauk Rapids.
