We bid farewell to Regina M. Pirkl of Saint Joseph, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Douvier and Katherine Douvier (Wolbeck); her husband Robert A. Pirkl; her son Robert "Bob"; her granddaughter Jessica "Jessi" Guggenberger; her great grandchild Savanna Sprouse; and her siblings, Anton, Gilbert, Hubert, Harold Douvier, Monica Stiever and Doraine Ritter.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Guggenberger (Tom) of St. Cloud, Mary Kay Warnert (Urban) of St. Joseph and Gary (Dorene) of Grey Eagle; her grandchildren, Lee Guggenberger (Jessica), Mark Warnert, Abe Warnert (Jen), Abby Cosby (Dwayne), Christine Warnert (Maciek Leya), Jolene Copeland (Mike), Gary Jr. Pirkl (Jen), Matthew Pirkl and Andrew Pirkl; and her daughter-in-law Amy Pirkl of Cold Spring. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Heritage Hall. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (12 W Minnesota St, St Joseph, MN 56374).
