With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter D. Honer of Saint Joseph, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on April 11, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Honer Gullas and Catherine Gullas; his wife Leora Cherne; his daughter Colleen Cherne; and his son-in-law Jeff Ketola.

He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ostendorf of St. Cloud, Linda Ketola of St. Cloud, James Honer (Joyce) of St. Stephen, Mark Honer (Linda Harris) of St. Stephen, Sandra Rosenberger (Scott) of St. Cloud, Sharon Carlson (Richard) of Topeka, Ronald Cherne (Ellen) of Brainerd, LeRoy Cherne (Patty) of St. Joseph, Mary Lou Smith (David) of Andover, Lloyd Cherne (Linda) of Pierz and John Cherne (Bernadine) of St. Joseph. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
