He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Butkowski and Anna Butkowski (Korte); his siblings, Roger (Beverly), Florian (Martha), Jerome, Marvin, Bernice Herzog (Hub), Olivia Beste (Herman) and Dorothy Weller (Cap); his sister-in-law Lonnie Butkowski; and his son-in-law Craig Lamphere.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sinclair; his children, Dona Lamphere of Sartell, Dan (Pam) of St. Joseph, Debby Slaperud (John) of Coon Rapids, Dennis (Kara) of St. Joseph and Deann Wise (Jeff) of Blythewood, SC; his siblings, Ray of St. Rosa, Lucille Stanek of Bloomington, LaVerne Fleischhacker and Annette Hollenkamp (Sylvester) of St. Rosa; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann and Dorothy Butkowski. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (12 W Minnesota St, St Joseph, MN 56374). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
