With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leander J. Meyer of Saint Joseph, Minnesota, who passed away on June 1, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Meyer (Sand) and Max Meyer; his wife Dolores Bechtold; and his siblings, Cyril, Catherine and Roman.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen of St. Joseph, MN, Rita (Larry Rapp) of North Oaks, MN, Helen of Minneapolis, MN, David (Debbie), John (Susan) of Ocala, FL, James (Susan Hennen) of Sartell, MN and Paul (Christine) of Plymouth, MN; his sister Marcella Roe of Grey Eagle, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Meyer of St. Joseph, MN and Dorothy Meyer of Sedona, AZ.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
To ensure visitor safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending will be required to wear face masks and observe the social distancing guidelines provided. Leander was born on February 2, 1922, to Margaret (Sand) and Max Meyer.
