He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Phillips and Mary Phillips (Schmitz); and his brothers, Eldred, Norbert and Neal Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Martin Phillips (Lisa), Christine Black of Mapleton, Daniel Phillips (Linda) of Mankato, Timothy Phillips (Brenda) of Rochester and Emily Corcoran (David) of Oceanside, CA; and his sister Mary Joan Phillips of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters.
