He is survived by: his son Mario Mertes of St. Cloud; his stepson Bill Robertson (Theresa Janssen) of St. Joseph; his brothers, Richard (Sherrie) of Wisconsin and Robert (Theresa) of Avon; his nieces and nephews, Ann, John, Mike, Ryan and Aaron; and his daughters, Tracey and Katie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at 23 Nov Visitation St., James Catholic. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church.
