He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Warnert and Lillian Warnert (Loso); and his siblings, Donald and Joyce Butterfly. He is survived by: his wife Lois Stang; his daughters, Brenda Barrett (Dave) and Sandy Warnert (Tom Barrett); his grandchildren, Cameron, Haley and Cody Barrett; and his siblings, Kathy Daniel (Bill), Mary Warnert and Joey Warnert (Jane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (12 W Minnesota St, St Joseph, MN 56374).
