She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Marjorie Peterson Jr. (Lind); her spouse Eugene H. Scheve; her daughter Karen; and her sisters, Shirley Carsten and Betty Hengelmuhle.
She is survived by: her son Tim (Terri) of Long Prairie; and her siblings, Mert Starry-Nelson, Marvin, Gerald and Elwin Peterson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
