He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roske and Bernadette Roske (Rennie); and his brothers, Larry, Ralph and Kenny.

He is survived by: his fiancée Delphine Olson; his children, Vern (Leah), John (Lisa), Mary Fiedler (Jim), Ron and Tina Ethen; his siblings, Roger (Kathy), Marlin (Jean) and Mary Lou Rausch (Dale); and his sisters-in-law, Marlene, Kathy and Diane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
