Carol C. Opatz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol C. Opatz (Saint Joseph, Minnesota), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Kuebelbeck and Cecilia Kuebelbeck (Storkamp); her husband Ernie; her daughter-in-law Sharon; and her siblings, Polly Hoover, Marge Reber, Ethel Meagher, John, Richard, Allen and Ken Kuebelbeck.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lantagne (Ron) of Escanaba, Steve Opatz (Laurie) of Luxemburg, Jim Opatz of Luxemburg, Judy Pilarski (Rod) of St. Wendel, Bill Opatz of Grey Eagle, Brenda Orth (Joel) of St. Wendel, Roger Opatz of St. Wendel, Greg Opatz of St. Wendel and Joyce Clark (Andy) of Opole; and her siblings, Mary Johannes, Jim Kuebelbeck (Carol), Jenny Faughn and Jay Kuebelbeck. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Poor Clares Monastery.
