She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hicks and Nellie Hicks (Espeland); her siblings, George Hicks (Donna), Murna Johnson (Ken) and Dorothy; and her brother-in-law Jim Evenson.
She is survived by: her husband Burt; her daughter April Reed (Al) of Madelia; her granddaughter Brianna Kilmer (Justin) of Madelia; her sister Kay Sonnek (Ambrose); and her close friend Joyce Resoft. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
