We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2020, at the age of 95, Vance E. Welchlin of Saint James, Minnesota, born in Fairmont, Minnesota passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed R. Welchlin and Zella Welchlin (Viesselman); his siblings, Ellen Peterson (Arlo) and Richard Welchlin (Dorothy); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Tomlinson (Richard), Richard Fredrickson, David Nordhausen, John Petrisko and Nels Pierson.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Welchlin of St. James, MN; his sons, Cabot Welchlin, Kelly Welchlin, Dr. Corey Welchlin and Kit Welchlin (Carol Maloney); his grandchildren, Kass Welchlin (Cassandra), Clayton Welchlin, Carter Welchlin (Brooklyn Leichtnam), Cody Welchlin, Cole Williams (Brian), Candace Welchlin and Kimberly Welchlin; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Maloney, Shauna Maloney and Breanna Maloney; his great grandchildren, Kyita, Zia, Corban, Viktor, Veda and Ossa; his sisters-in-law, Allegra Fredrickson, Patricia Nordhausen, Kathleen Pierson and Mary Petrisko; and his friends, Audrey Welchlin, René Waletich, Susie Conley, Barbara Savage, Kathy Welchlin and Bette Murphy. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
