It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Miller of Saint James, Minnesota, born in Butterfield, Minnesota, who passed away on April 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Amelia (Bartz); his wife Martha Elder (Marty); his daughter Kari Nessler; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Lois Elder; his sisters, Lois Ewert and Naomi Kennedy; and his parents-in-law, James Ewert (Spike), Jack Kennedy, Bill Miest, Al Haler, Robert Laird, Herman Hardel, Charlotte Hardel, James Garoutte, Linda Elder, Leslie Elder and David Elder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Janovsky of Owatonna and Lori Terwey (Jake) of St Joseph; his grandchildren, Jackie Janovsky (Matt), Tyler Janovsky, Jacob Janovsky, Erik Balfe, Robbe Nessler (Christy), Kacey Wojtalewicz (Joe), Ryan Nessler and Kelli Nessler (Damian); his great grandchildren, Cade Kalbow, Peyton Kalbow, Mason Schweitzer, Henry Janovsky, Owen Wojtalewicz, Silas Wojtalewicz, Kari Nessler, Brody Nessler, Harley Maric and Sawyer Maric; his sisters, Donna Miest of St. James and Phyllis Haler of St. James; his parents-in-law, Merle Laird of Mankato, Harold Elder (Peggy) of Hutchinson, Mary Garoutte of St Clair, Val Elder of Hutchinson and Charles "Rusty" Elder (Lisa) of Mankato; his son-in-law Randy Nessler of Bemidji; and his close friends, David Janovsky, Sandy Ilig, Scott, Sue Johnson and Marcia Paulson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
