It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Jeanne Malmgren of Saint James, Minnesota, born in Madelia, Minnesota, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kathryn Angel (McCarthy) and Oscar William Samlaska; her husband Leon Dale Malmgren; her children, Dennis Malmgren of St. James, MN, Dean (Lisa Downs) of Alexandria, MN and Laura Lang (Steve) of St. James, MN.; her grandchildren, Stacey Malmgren of Sioux Falls, SD, Leslie Malmgren of Sioux Falls, SD, Kelsey Malmgren of Marco Island, FL, Devin Malmgren (Tess) of Sioux Falls, SD, Stephanie Klatte (Jacob) of LaCrosse, WI, Aaron Malmgren (Abbie) of Mustang, OK, Matthew Malmgren (Jody Weisel) of Alexandria, MN, Rachel Lang of St. James, MN and McKenzie Lang of St. James, MN.; her great grandchildren, Jackson, William, Grayson Klatte, Freya Malmgren, Jaiyanna Berry and Jayelle Terry; and her siblings, Robert, Richard, Roy, Dorn, Jerry, Grace, Kathleen, Beatrice and Margaret.
