She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Nelson (Olson) and Bruno H Nelson; her husband Philip Broste of Hanska; her brother Mauritz; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, David Broste (Joan) of Littleton, CO, Steven Broste (Cynthia) of Champlin, MN and Susan Weaver (Richard) of Eden Prairie; her grandchildren, Nicholas Broste, Christopher Broste (Shannon May), Juliana Broste, Rebecca Carlson (Jeromy) and Mark Broste (Kate Mills); and her great grandchildren, Linnea and Britta Carlson. She is also survived by Friends group and her "39er's"classmates.
