We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mae Brekken (Saint James, Minnesota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Askeland and Minnie Askeland (Thuestad); her husband Adolph Brekken; her granddaughter Heidi Craig; and her siblings, William, Albert, Clifford, Clara, Mildred, Gladys and Esther.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hanson (Ken) and Keith Brekken (Cindy) of St. James; her grandchildren, Kim Louwagie (Rich), Kris Cross (Steve), Kyle Hanson (Amy), Kari Miest (Darrick), Katrin Erdmann (Matt Anderson), Jeremy Brekken (Ashley), Jon Craig and Travis Brekken (Kelli Tucholke); and her great great grandchild Elaine Askeland. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials would be preferred in lieu of flowers, to the Gideon's and Hosanna Free Lutheran Church.
