It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luverne Margaret Hammer of Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter LaRae; her husband Tillyer Hammer; and her granddaughter-in-law Ann. She is survived by: her son-in-law Hillis "Pete" Peterson; her grandchildren, Eric Peterson of Millville, Jodi Halvorson (Greg) of Truman and Nichole Hoffman (Larry) of Hanska; her great grandchildren, Tyler (Iesha), Ashley (Matt), Jamie (Rafael), Benny (Sydney), Benjamin (Angel), Brady, Derrick, Erin (Kreston), Elizabeth (Tucker), Devin (Emily) and Joshua; and her great great grandchildren, Ava, Cayden, Grayson, Aurora, Rowen, Kingston and Kendrick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family prefers memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
