She was predeceased by: her husband LaVerne Thompson (Bud); her son Bradley; her parents, Frank Engelbrecht and Elsie Engelbrecht; her sister Elaine; her brother-in-law Arnold Coleman; her brother Melvin; her sister-in-law Dona Engelbrecht; and her parents-in-law, Theodore, Frieda Thompson, Donald, Edna Thompson, Violet Ellis, Merlyn, Leila Bjorklund, Milton and Beverly Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elsie Engelbrecht (Meyer) and Joleen Frederickson (Trent); her grandchildren, Nate Frederickson (Lisa Moldan), Abby Jurgens (Matt) of Wauwatosa, WI and Ashley Frederickson (Mitchell); and her great grandchildren, Adrian and Isla Frederickson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
