He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Fassbender and Elva Fassbender (Fuller); his wife Roxanne Fassbender (Meyer); his granddaughter Harleigh Marti; and his parents-in-law, Melania and Delmar Meyer.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jennifer Marti, Brooks, Jodi Marti (Kaden), Adam and Lisa Marti; his brother-in-law Dean Meyer (Darla); and his nephews, Jeff and Joe Meyer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel (301 3rd Ave SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Home Cemetery (700 St. Mary's St. N. E., Sleepy Eye, MN 56085).
