He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Thompson and Freda Thompson (Nelson); his son Bradley Thompson; his parents-in-law, Frank and Elsie Engelbrecht; his siblings, Violet Ellis, Leila Bjorklund and Donald Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Thompson, Edna Thompson, Elaine Coleman, Dona Engelbrecht, Merlyn Bjorklund, Arnold Coleman and Melvin Engelbrecht.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Engelbrecht; his daughter Joleen Frederickson (Trent) of St. James, Minnesota; his grandson Nate Frederickson (Lisa Moldan) of St. James; his great grandchildren, Adrian and Isla; his granddaughters, Dr. Abby Frederickson (Matt Jurgens) of Phoenix, Arizona and Ashley Frederickson of St. James, Minnesota; and his brother Milton Thompson of St. James, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
