He is survived by: his children, Jesse Nelson (Julie) of Montevideo, MN, Gerad Nelson (Kelsey) of La Quinta, CA, Cory Nelson (Angelina) of Windom and Kelsey Forand (Anthony) of St. James; his grandchildren, Blake Nelson (Emily), Brooklyn Nelson (Austin Sorensen), Ellie, Lucy, Maggie Nelson, Layla Nelson and Hadley Forand; his great grandchildren, Bennett Sorensen and Bostyn Nelson; and his siblings, Warren Nelson (Jodie), Russell Nelson (Julie) and Sherri Poulson (Pete). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
