She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Carter (Ausen) and Clinton H. Carter, Jr.; her sister Betty Meyer; her brother-in-law Don Meyer; her brother Jackie Carter; and her grandchildren, Stacy Rae Holland and Kirk Holland.

She is survived by: her husband Milo D. Holland; her children, Susan Anderson (Howard Caldwell) of Richmond, MN, Joel Holland (Johannah) of Odin, MN and Charles Holland (Marie) of Marshall, MN; her grandchildren, Holly Eng (Nate), Robin Buhler (Allen), Ehrick Holland (Jennifer), Clinton Holland (Shelly), Ehrin Johnson (Ryan) and Chelsey Sargent (Nate); her great grandchildren, Haley, Kaitlin, Isaac, Peter, Masyn, Khulyn, Khendal, Rebecca, Khyan, Khael, Dominic and Lehti; her sisters, Beverly DeWall, Patricia Lenz (Dennis) and Judy Kramer (Kay); and her sister-in-law Lenora Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Kay's family prefers memorials be given to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
