She is survived by: her husband Hubert Branstad; her children, Harley Branstad (Gwen) of LaSalle, Jim Branstad (Pat) of St. James, Gloria Voth (Randy) of New Ulm and Julie Schmidt (Robbie) of St. James; her grandchildren, John Branstad (Shannon), Anne Branstad (Dann Roberts), Jeff Branstad (Patria Lawton), Jamis Voth, Raya Shibiliski (Luke), Carolin Ortiz (Angel), Andrew Schmidt, Rachel Coons (Justin), Danny Thielman (Kayla Morris), Leslie Hackett (Danny Brown) and Kristenza Nelson; and her brother-in-law Bob Quayle. She is also survived by 11 great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
